Grocery-rating app based on labels 📜

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺:

You don't know if your groceries are killing you or if they're healthy. Grocery labels aren't helping you understand that since they are pretty complicated to figure out.

𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁:

Healthy eaters, people with dietary constraints.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

App that scans the product label and, based on your dietary profile, gives the product a score from 0 to 100. Also lets you know the total score of your entire cart in case you've stuffed it full of cookies.

𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀:

✅ Easier to decide what to buy in-store and what to watch out for.

✅ Adapted to your personal meal/health plan (if you want to lose/gain weight).

✅ Get in and out of the store faster.

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀:

❌ Regulations (EU already has in plan to change/improve labels. Is this more of an international startup?)

❌ Tech (Building the tech to scan the labels with computer vision and translate them is no easy task, but not impossible)

❌ Behaviour (Would people stop and scan each product they add to their cart? To research...)
